Tbilisi accepted into the world federation of tourist cities

The capital of Georgia joined the WTCF. This organization was created in Beijing and this is the first city-oriented organization.

“I want to share with you another joyful and interesting innovation for the city. A summit was held in Helsinki called“ Reasonable Tourism - the Way of Development and Innovation of Cities ”, which officially presented Tbilisi as a new member of the association,” Kaladze said.

As the mayor of Tbilisi noted, everything possible must be done to introduce the world to Georgia, its capital, sights and traditions.

"We have delicious food, wine, and, most importantly, we are hospitable people, and any tourist who comes here will definitely return to Tbilisi with their friends and family. That is why tourism needs a lot of support," Kaladze emphasized.

The main vision of the WTCF is "Improving the City's Life Through Tourism". It is aimed at facilitating the exchange and cooperation between cities, promoting tourism products and resources, as well as promoting the development and prosperity of the global tourism industry. Due to its growing attractiveness, opportunities, leadership and influence in the tourism industry, WTCF is considered the fastest growing international tourism organization.
