Shota Rustaveli took ninth place in the Ranker raiting

The great Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli, who wrote the poem “The Knight in the Tiger Skin” in the 12th century, was on the list of “best writers of all time”.

"Ranker" is a digital media company in Los Angeles.  The web page hosts many online surveys on various topics.

William Shakespeare took the first place in the ranking, Fedor Dostoevsky took the second place, followed by Leo Tolstoy, Charles Dickens and so on.  In tenth place, immediately after Rustaveli, Mark Twain.
