Mtskheta-Jvari-Shiomgvime
Excursion to the first capital of Georgia - the ancient city of Mtskheta. Here you will visit the streets of the city and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral of the 11th century (UNESCO site), where the tunic of Jesus Christ is buried. Climb to the monastery of Jvari of the 7th century (UNESCO site), from where an unforgettable view of the confluence of two rivers - the Kura (Mtkvari) and Aragvi opens. In Mtskheta, visit the Samtavro Convent of the IV century - a complex of Samtavro-Preobrazhensky Church and St. Nino Monastery. After this, head to the monastery complex with the rocks of Shio-Mgvime, founded by the monk Shio - one of the 13 Assyrian fathers.
