2 Days Tour - Kazbegi - Juta

Day 1

Our journey begins along the Georgian military road. The first stop will be the Zhinvali water reservoir with beautiful views of the mountain ranges. The 16th century fortress Ananuri is located near Zhinvali. This is an architectural complex consisting of a fortress and a temple. After that, we go to Gudauri (ski resort), we will stop at the Friendship Arch, from where you will see incredible views of the gorge and old settlements open. Through the cross pass we go to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). We check into the hotel, have lunch. After that, we go to the piedmont of Gergeti, there we change transport and climb the monastery of the Gergeti Trinity, located at an altitude of 2200 m with a view of Mount Kazbegi (5053) and the village of Stepantsminda. Then visit the Gveleti waterfall, with trekking (20-30 minutes). Optional visit to Dariali Gorge and the Church of the Archangels. Return to the hotel, rest and overnight.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel, after that we go to the side of Juta - a village located at an altitude of 2200 m, from there we start the trek to the foot of the Chaukhsky massif. On the way, views of the rocky peaks with a height of 3500-3900 m open, and we will also see an alpine lake. The duration of the track is 3.5-4 hours round trip. After that, we will return to the hotel and drive back to Tbilisi.
