Day 1 Tbilisi Tour

Tbilisi was founded in the 5th century by King Vakhtang Gorgasali. The city has a 1600-years old history, rich culture, unique traditions, special architecture. Tbilisi is distinguished by its tolerance for different religions and nations. During the tour you will go up to Narikala fortress by cable car, from where you can enjoy the unforgettable panorama of the city, visit Sameba (Holy Trinity Cathedral) – the biggest church of Georgia, see the main avenues -Rustaveli and Agmashenebeli, have a look to the new parts, walk in the old town , see sulfur bathes and waterfall and learn more about its history.

Day 2, Day 3 Zhinvali-Ananuri-Gudauri Ski resort

The trip is on Georgian Military Highway. We will see beautiful Zhinvali water reservoir. After that we will visit the ancient fortress Ananuri. We continue our way to Gudauri(famous ski resort), located on the slopes of the Great Caucasus Range. (more than 2000 meters above the sea level)

Day 4 Visiting Kazbegi and Gergeti Mountain-Return to Tbilisi

Next point is the village of Stepantsminda, located in the high mountain region of Kazbegi, from where we will start our way up to the mount Gergeti (2200 meters) where the monastery of the Holy Trinity is located founded in the XIV century (UNESCO). You will see the top of Kazbegi peak, 5047 meters above sea level, Georgia’s second highest peak.

Day 5 Mtskheta-Jvari-Gori-Uplistsikhe

Mtskheta is the first capital of Georgia. We will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (XI century) where the robe of Jesus Christ is being kept. The Cathedral is the burial place of the Royal family Bagrationi and the patriarchs of Georgia. There is the unforgettable view to two rivers, flowing together –Mtkvari (Kura) and Aragvi from the Jvari monastery of the VII century (UNESCO site). This is the place where the baptizing of the king Mirian and the Georgian people happened in 337. Gori is an ancient city which was located on the Silk Way. The city is spread in Kartli valley in the place of the con°uence of the Mtkvari and Big Liakhvi rivers. Among the ancient sights of Gori there are the ruins of an ancient fortress Goristsikhe located on a hill in the city centre. Joseph Stalin was born in Gori. There is the State Museum of Joseph Stalin in Gori. Uplistsikhe is the most ancient cave settlement hewed in a rock, from II-I millenium B.C. (UNESCO site). 

Day 6 Kutaisi-Prometheus Caves-Sataplia Park

We are going to Kutaisi, one of the ancient cities and a second biggest city in Georgia. We will visit Gelati Monastery - the most important cultural and educational center of the XII century, founded by king David the Builder, where he is buried. We will visit Sataplia National park with beautiful nature and underground caves. Also you can see there dinosaurs footprints there. After that we will visit Prometheus caves- the biggest cave complex in Georgia full of stalactites and stalagmites.

Day 7 Martvili Canyon –Okatse Canyon –Kinchkha Waterfall

We are going to one of the beautiful Georgia regions – Samegrelo. Your first stop is The Martvili Canyon is a natural wonder. It used to be a bath place for Georgian Nobles, Dadiani family. Now it represents a touristic site. People visit it to enjoy the scenery, its waterfalls and take a 300-meter boat trip in the river (by wish, depends on weather) with deep green color. Okatse canyon is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia. There you can walk in the forest and on the bridge 50 meters above canyon. The views and landscapes are really impressive. After that you will visit the biggest waterfall in Georgia – Kinchkha. After That we are going to Batumi – City on the Black Sea located on the coast of the Black Sea in the country's southwest.

Day 8 Batumi City Tour – Free Evening in City

Batumi—the “Pearl of the Black Sea,” as it is often called—is located in the autonomous republic of Adjara. European architects undertook numerous projects in Batumi at the beginning of the 20th century, and today it remains a hub of architectural innovation. You will see the most beautiful and interesting places in Batumi. Can Try Adjarian Khachapuri –Georgian dish and then have a free time.
