Kakheti Wine Tour
Georgia is
the birthplace of winemaking. Wine has been produced here for 8000 years. In
eastern Georgia - Kakheti are presented the main grape varieties. Therefore,

Tbilisi, continues along the Gombori Pass - one of the most picturesque roads
leading to Kakheti. We visit the Ikalto monastery, where Shota Rustaveli
studied in the 12th century, and where monks have been making wine here since

traditional wine cellar "Marani". There will be a free tasting for
you with the opportunity to taste 6-7 varieties of wines and chacha. We pass
the city of Telavi - the capital of Kakheti and find ourselves in the microzone
Tsinandali. Here we visit the Shumi winery, with the opportunity to see the
production of wine and choose the appropriate tasting package. After that, we
visit the Alexander Chavchavadze Museum, where you will have the opportunity to
see the wine cellar and visit the museum, taste wine by wish.
