Paravani Lake – Shaori Fortress
The tour
starts from Tbilisi and continues through southern Georgia. We will have stops in
picturesque places. After we go up to
Lake Paravani - the largest lake in Georgia, which is located at 2073 m above
sea level. The hike to the Shaori fortress starts from the lake. Shaori is a
megalistic construction of the Bronze Age, located on a rocky mountain of 2752
m above sea level in the mountains of the Lesser Caucasus. The duration of the
hike is approximately 2-3 hours. The Shaori Fortress offers fantastic views of
Lake Paravani. Tour statrts from Tbilisi by jeeps, and after the lake we go by
foot. Duration
of this tour is approximately 9-10 hours.
