7 Day Tour Mountain Georgia

Day 1

Tbilisi City tour, you visit Abanotubani (the area of sulfur baths), the Narikala fortress, the old streets of Tbilisi, where synagogues and churches are located, you will see all the flavor of this city. You will see the Rezo Gabriadze Theater, Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue - the main avenue of the city of Tbilisi, David Agmashenebeli Avenue.

Day 2

We go to one of the most beautiful regions of Georgia (eastern Georgia). On the way we stop at a bakery, where you can see how Kakhetian bread is baked. The next stop is Bodbe. It is the active nunnery where Saint Nino, the enlightener of Georgia, rests. The monastery is located in a picturesque place with views of the Alazani Valley. Then we go to Sighnaghi - "City of Love", where you can walk along the old streets. We visit the Galavani fortress which surrounds the old city. On the way back to Tbilisi we visit a winery or a cellar (by choice) where a free wine tasting will take place, where you can buy wines at exclusive prices. 

Day 3

We go to western Georgia, on the way you can see the Jvari cross monastery, with an incredible view of the city of Mtskheta and the confluence of the two rivers Kura and Aragvi. We go to Kutaisi - the largest city in western Georgia, check into a hotel. After that, we will visit the Prometheus Caves - the largest underground cave complex in Georgia full of stalactites and stalagmites. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 4 

 After breakfast early in the morning we leave Kutaisi, head to Martvili, where are a canyons famous by beauty. There you can take a boat tour. Next, we head to the Okatse canyon, where are many panoramic platforms from which views of the canyon and mountains open. After that we go to Svaneti region, check into a hotel. Overnight in Mestia.

Day 5

We are heading to Ushguli - the highest settlement in Georgia where are represented Svan watchtowers of the X-XII centuries, one of the towers belonged to Queen Tamara. Above Ushguli rises the Shkhara mountain range, the highest in Georgia - 5201 m. Ushguli is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia. 

Return to Mestia, free evening.

Day 6

Free day in Mestia.

Optional visit to the museum, watchtowers, mineral springs, climb the Chalaadi glacier and just walk.

Day 7

Return to Tbilisi

We leave early in the morning, stop for lunch and arrive in Tbilisi in the evening.
